Wisconsin Belgian Red Chocolate Sauce

Serve this dark chocolate-cherry sauce over pieces of your favorite cake or use it as a dip for fresh strawberries, bananas and marshmallows.

Ingredients

1/2 cup 60% cacao dark chocolate chips
3 tbsp. heavy cream
2 tbsp. cherry all-fruit spread
1 tbsp. sugar, optional
1/4 cup New Glarus Brewing Co.'s Wisconsin Belgian Red

 

Directions

In a 2 cup microwave safe container, combine chocolate chips, heavy cream, fruit spread and sugar, if desired, Cook on high 40 seconds or until heated through and fruit spread is melted; stir until well mixed. Add chocolate chips, stir until melted. Add beer, stirring until well blended. Chill several hours, until thickened.
