Wisconsin Belgian Red Chocolate Sauce
Serve this dark chocolate-cherry sauce over pieces of your favorite cake or use it as a dip for fresh strawberries, bananas and marshmallows.
|1/2||cup||60% cacao dark chocolate chips|
|2||tbsp.||cherry all-fruit spread|
|1/4||cup||New Glarus Brewing Co.'s Wisconsin Belgian Red|
In a 2 cup microwave safe container, combine chocolate chips, heavy cream, fruit spread and sugar, if desired, Cook on high 40 seconds or until heated through and fruit spread is melted; stir until well mixed. Add chocolate chips, stir until melted. Add beer, stirring until well blended. Chill several hours, until thickened.
