Wisconsin Belgian Red Chocolate Sauce
Serve this dark chocolate-cherry sauce over pieces of your favorite cake or use it as a dip for fresh strawberries, bananas and marshmallows.
Ingredients
| 1/2 | cup | 60% cacao dark chocolate chips |
| 3 | tbsp. | heavy cream |
| 2 | tbsp. | cherry all-fruit spread |
| 1 | tbsp. | sugar, optional |
| 1/4 | cup | New Glarus Brewing Co.'s Wisconsin Belgian Red |
Directions
In a 2 cup microwave safe container, combine chocolate chips, heavy cream, fruit spread and sugar, if desired, Cook on high 40 seconds or until heated through and fruit spread is melted; stir until well mixed. Add chocolate chips, stir until melted. Add beer, stirring until well blended. Chill several hours, until thickened.
